A supporter feature designed to move with the club.
Peterborough United appointed Intaglio to deliver Upon This Rock, a personalised engraved stone scheme created to celebrate supporter identity and embed fan presence at the heart of Weston Homes Stadium. The scheme is part of a fundraising initiative, with 10% of the net proceeds from the purchase of any regular or large stone being donated to the Tommy Robson Statue Fund.

The Challenge
Peterborough United wanted to create a heritage feature that offered supporters a meaningful way to mark their connection to the Club.
The Club required:
- A design rooted in identity and heritage
- A flexible installation approach
- A clear and reliable supporter ordering process
- High quality materials built to last
The Solution
Working closely with Peterborough FC, Intaglio designed and launched Upon This Rock and continues to deliver the programme as it grows.

Designed around heritage
The installation sits outside the Posh Store as a personalised granite stone scheme rooted in supporter identity. The layout creates a visible and steadily growing landmark within the stadium footprint.

Supporter choice
With four stone sizes and a choice of crest designs, supporters can create something that feels personal to them. Dedicated corporate stone options are also available for club partners and businesses, allowing organisations to leave their own mark within the wider development.

Structured for ongoing demand
A dedicated sales platform allows supporters to personalise their engraved fan stone with a name, message or dedication. Replica stones and personalised certificates are available as additional keepsake options.
Intaglio manages engraving, production and installation on an ongoing basis, ensuring each stone is checked, finished and installed to a consistent standard.

Supporting promotion
Intaglio has worked with the Club’s marketing team to support promotion of the scheme, including hosting behind the scenes content with Peterborough United's club mascot, Peter Burrow, to showcase how the stones are produced. This keeps the programme visible and commercially active.
The Results
Still a live project, so far Upon This Rock has delivered strong engagement, offering a meaningful way for fans to mark their connection to the Club while creating ongoing commercial value. It has:
- Strengthened supporter engagement
- Opened new retail and gifting opportunities through replicas and certificates
- Generated additional revenue for the club
Each stone represents a personal story, together forming a collective tribute to generations of Posh supporters. See a POSH stone being made when club mascot Peter Burrow visited Intaglio.
