The Intaglio team joined forces with Wigan Warriors to inaugurate their Memory Wall, a heartfelt celebration of the club’s momentous 150th Anniversary.

This ambitious project seamlessly integrated with our company’s Fundit Now fundraising software, granting the club exclusive access to their dedicated fundraising website while providing transparency regarding plaque sales. The club has carefully chosen a serene location within their community garden, strategically positioned near the border of the Brick Community Stadium.

The Challenge

Wigan Warriors wanted to create a commemorative installation that reflected the significance of the club’s 150-year history while offering supporters a meaningful way to take part.

The scheme needed to sit within a calm, reflective setting rather than a busy matchday walkway, while still providing a structured programme capable of handling personalised plaque orders and supporter engagement.

It also needed a reliable fundraising platform that allowed the club to manage sales and supporter communication transparently.

Intaglio designed and delivered the 150 Memorial Wall as a personalised fan plaque programme designed with reflection at its heart.

The installation was positioned within the community garden beside the stadium, creating a peaceful environment where supporters can spend time with the plaques and reflect on the memories they represent.

Built for supporters

Personalised zinc plaques allow fans to add names, messages or dedications that celebrate their connection to the club or commemorate loved ones. Each plaque is engraved and installed as part of the memorial wall.

Structured for fundraising

The scheme integrates with Intaglio’s FunditNow platform, giving the club a dedicated sales website and clear visibility of plaque purchases while maintaining a smooth supporter journey from order through to installation.
