Supporter personalisation in one of the most iconic spaces at Emirates Stadium.
In 2017, Arsenal Football Club appointed our team to deliver Celebration Corner, a permanent personalised plaque installation positioned alongside the Thierry Henry statue.
The project introduced the UK’s first large-scale zinc stadium personalisation scheme, creating a prominent and lasting supporter feature within one of the most recognisable areas of the ground.

The Challenge
Arsenal FC required a distinctive personalisation scheme that aligned with the wider Arsenalisation programme at Emirates Stadium.
The installation needed to sit in a high-profile location beside one of the club’s most recognisable landmarks. It also needed to introduce zinc as the primary material for a large-scale stadium personalisation scheme in the UK, ensuring durability and long-term performance.
With thousands of anticipated orders, the programme required a structured sales platform, precise engraving and coordinated installation.
The Solution
Intaglio designed and delivered Celebration Corner from concept through to installation, working with the club every step of the way to create something special.

Fan-first exprerience
A bespoke e-commerce website and sales platform enabled supporters to select from three plaque sizes and choose from Arsenal crests representing different eras of the club’s history, so fans could create something that truly mattered to them. Replica plaques, presented in Arsenal-branded boxes, were also offered to supporters, creating an additional keepsake while unlocking further revenue for the club.

Club colours to bring a prime location to life
More than 8,000 personalised zinc plaques were engraved and installed during the initial phase, enabling fans to take their place at the heart of the ground. The plaques were arranged to create a red and white visual effect across the wall, forming a design that reflects the club’s colours behind the all-important Thierry Henry statue.

Fan support without the admin burden
Intaglio provided full customer service support throughout the project, managing enquiries and overseeing the purchasing journey from order through to installation. This ensured supporter queries were handled smoothly without adding pressure to Arsenal’s internal teams.
We wanted the fans to have their space, where they can have their own personal messages and be a permanent part of the stadium. The interest for Armoury Square has been incredible. As a consequence, we've had to expand the project further than we initially envisaged.
The Results
Celebration Corner established the first large-scale zinc personalisation scheme in a UK stadium.
The installation delivered:
- Over 8,000 personalised zinc plaques in its initial phase
- A permanent supporter feature at a landmark stadium location
- A structured and scalable sales platform providing an additional revenue stream
- A meaningful way for fans to make a lasting mark at the Emirates Stadium
- A material innovation that has since informed further schemes
Following continued demand, an additional phase of the scheme was launched in 2023.
