The Arsenalisation of The Emirates Stadium

Our journey at Armoury Square was a remarkable personalisation project, where we crafted more than 18,000 customised plaques for the esteemed Arsenal Football Club. This endeavour played a pivotal role in transforming the area outside the iconic Armoury Store at the Emirates Stadium. These personalised stones were an integral part of an expansive Arsenalization initiative.

Our team devised a groundbreaking system that enabled thousands of passionate Arsenal supporters to acquire a stone and choose the message they wanted etched onto their enduring granite stone. This project witnessed our dedicated customer service team skillfully handling over 18,000 orders. Meanwhile, our installation team ensured that messages ranging from birthdays, anniversaries, family memories, and even eight marriage proposals were immortalised at Arsenal Football Club as a lasting legacy.

How We Did It

The talented Intaglio team conceived a distinctive narrative infused with the essence of Arsenal, which now embellishes the central stones and benches within the project. We offered fans the opportunity to select a personalised stone to run alongside the central stones and benches. In total, over 18,000 stones were intricately personalised, celebrating births, weddings, anniversaries, and providing fans with a perpetual presence at The Emirates. Intaglio’s meticulous approach ensured a seamless process for every sale, enabling fans to personalise their stones and receive an update when their stone was installed with their own location map.

Supporters securing a stone at The Emirates were also given the privilege of acquiring their own personalised replica stone. These exquisite replicas were presented in Arsenal branded boxes, offering additional cherished mementos to have in their home.

We wanted the fans to have their space, where they can have their own personal messages and be a permanent part of the stadium. The interest for Armoury Square has been incredible. As a consequence, we've had to expand the project further than we initially envisaged.
