Intaglio Creative has completed its third permanent stadium supporter legacy scheme for Leeds United, with East Stand Legacy now in place either side of the East Stand reception on Lowfield’s Road at Elland Road Stadium.
The new landmark honours two of the club’s defining managers, Marcelo Bielsa and Howard Wilkinson, across two dedicated spaces: Bielsa’s Place and Howard’s Way. Together they feature 4,500 individually engraved granite stones, two bespoke centrepieces recreating the managers’ touchline seats, and iconic imagery marking their respective eras.
It’s a hat-trick built over several years of work at the stadium.
Centenary Square (2024) marked 100 years of Leeds United with a full rebuild of the original scheme, replacing over 10,000 stones in premium granite and later extending with 4,500 more to honour championship-winning managers Bielsa, Wilkinson and Farke. The square now holds 14,500+ personalised stones across 700+ m² and six themed areas.
Bremner Square (2018), built around the statue of club legend Billy Bremner and the fan-voted Leeds XI, added a further 17,000 personalised paving stones, giving supporters a permanent place alongside the club’s most celebrated captain.
East Stand Legacy (2026) completes the current picture, with Bielsa’s Place finished in July and Howard’s Way following in August.
