Centenary Wall at Hartlepool United

The Club are now in a position to provide an update on the damage to the Centenary Wall caused by the storm in the early hours of Friday, October 20.

Staff have been working hard behind the scenes to check the status of all bricks and catalogue the details of damaged bricks so that these can be replaced.

We are delighted to advise that Intaglio Creative have kindly agreed to supply the new replacement bricks without cost.

Kevin O’Brien, Director at Intaglio Creative, stated:

“We work with clubs all over the country executing projects of this type, and after being made aware of what had happened at the Suit Direct Stadium by a family member from Hartlepool, we were only happy to help.”

Once the new bricks have arrived, these will be reinstated by Lee Boyd, Bricklaying Lecturer at Hartlepool College of FE, when weather conditions are suitable.

We thank both Intaglio Creative and Hartlepool College of FE for their support in ensuring we can return the Centenary Wall back to its former glory, which holds a special meaning for fans and the Club alike.
