We love it when clubs announce the projects we’re working on together. By that point, there’s already been a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes; things like getting the retail site ready, setting up templates, and making sure the back-end systems and order fulfilment are ready to run smoothly from the very first order.

Last week marked the launch of the next phase of personalised bricks at Barclays Hampden, forming part of the new ‘We’ll Be Coming’ wall.

The wall has been created to mark a big moment in Scottish football… Scotland’s return to the World Cup after 28 years. It will become a permanent feature at the national stadium, built from individually engraved bricks purchased by supporters.

Built around real fan stories

Projects like this are always personal. Scotland’s return to the World Cup was years in the making, and for many fans it represents a lifetime of following the team, home and away, through highs, lows and long waits.

Each brick captures a small part of that journey. A name, a date, a message, a memory. On its own it’s meaningful. Together, they form something much bigger and create a shared marker of a moment that matters to a lot of people.

What we’re responsible for

Intaglio has been appointed to produce the personalised bricks for the ‘We’ll Be Coming’ wall.

We’ll be making sure the personalisation system works properly, including checking data (and making sure no naughty words slip through!), producing each brick accurately and ensuring the finished pieces are made to a standard that will please the fans and stand the test of time for a permanent stadium installation.

We’re pleased to be working alongside the Scottish Football Association on this project and supporting the delivery of a really meaningful fan landmark built to last.

This phase of personalised bricks is now available, with installation planned at Barclays Hampden as part of the ‘We’ll Be Coming’ wall.
